Several years ago, I read a book titled "Staying Healthy With the Seasons" by Elson Haas, which significantly influenced the path I decided to pursue. The book offered a valuable perspective: each season is associated with specific emotions and thoughts that are beneficial to experience, and outside of those seasons, there is room to embrace these feelings. Much like the concept of yin and yang, there is a bit of everything within each of us, and it is essential to maintain this balance.
Fall, also known as Autumn, is a season for introspection. During this time, plants withdraw nutrients from their leaves and direct them to their roots, safeguarding the plant from frost, starvation, and destruction. While one part may seem dormant, another is thriving, preparing, and growing. Life is enveloped in beauty.
By taking a moment to acknowledge and reflect, we can discover magic and wonder. Life might appear mundane if we do not pause to appreciate the roses or enjoy the rustling of fallen leaves.
Autumn invites introspection rather than external focus, offering a period for contemplation, resource conservation, transformation, and a distinct form of growth. It is a season where we retreat to our couches, seeking the comfort of warm blankets, indulging in a good book, and savoring a hot cup of tea amidst the cool air. We keep the windows open, despite being wrapped in cozy attire, to enjoy the lingering daylight, the sunlight filtering through the leaves, and the refreshing air that invigorates our senses.
Through introspection and contemplation, many individuals may encounter feelings of sadness or depression. Although often perceived as negative, these emotions are essential for

For change to occur, we must engage in the process of grieving to release attachments to things, people, and places, allowing us to embrace our current existence. This enables us to progress and flourish in the future. It is essential to cultivate self-love and self-care, granting ourselves and others the necessary space and time to heal and reflect on our way of life. We should evaluate whether it aligns with our deepest desires, and if it does not, determine the necessary actions to achieve fulfillment.
